Jakob Boehme - An Introduction
Jakob Boehme (1575-1624) was a German lay theologian and mystic who describes
visions he had in the book Aurora. Through his own symbolic language,
he describes a tep-by-step method of attaining union with Christ. Though
denounced by the Lutheran clergy, he
has been an inspiration to many Christians
seeking mystical experiences. Jakob Boehme's writings were influential
in the Theosophy movement started by
Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and Henry Alcott in 1875
